Letter from The President
Delegates of the Special Conference,
The Special Conference Team would like to welcome you to the fifth annual American School of Dubai Model United Nations Conference. This year, the special’s conference theme is “opportunity to equal healthcare access.”
In this year’s conference, we will be entertaining the topics of, “Equal access to mental health services in hospitals and community clinics,” “Compulsory inclusion of special needs student services in all public schools around the world,” and “Holding multinational corporations responsible for environmental health disasters they have contributed to.” As all three of these issues are pressing matters at the moment, and are related to the theme of “opportunity to equal healthcare access,” we believe that they will serve as interesting debate topics. Each delegate is expected to contribute to all major aspects of the MUN process. Delegates are highly encouraged to research both the issue at hand as well as their delegation’s stance on it. Moreover, delegates are to come prepared and ready to lobby, debate, and express their positions to the forum with confidence and courtesy. Once again, we thank you for coming and expect nothing but great things from this year’s conference.
Warm regards, The Special Conference
