Dear Judges of the International Court of Justice,
It is a pleasure to welcome you to the first ASD Model United Nations International Court of Justice. This year’s theme of ASDMUN is “Innovation in a Rapidly Changing World” and the International Court of Justice seeks to apply this into our debate and solutions. Seeing as the International Court of Justice is a unique and newly-instated forum, we will be engaging in stimulative debate concerning only one case: Aerial Herbicide Spraying in South America. As a small, court-based forum, the International Court of Justice provides an experience for those wishing to refine their debate in a focused environment as well as those wishing to gain an understanding of court procedure.
The International Court of Justice looks forward to setting a precedent for court-based debate on today’s pressing global issues at ASDMUN.
