The leaders of General Assembly II are extremely excited to welcome you to the fourth ASDMUN. We look forward to seeing the innovative solutions that you come up with, and the consequent debates that arise.
The General Assembly is made up of all 193 member states of the United Nations, providing room for unique discussions on a wide range of topics, from disarmament and security, to economic and budgetary concerns.
This year, we will be focusing on three interesting and exciting topics: The prevention of an arms race in outer spaces, mitigating drug supply through alternative development, and improving measures to protect female access to family planning services.
We would like to emphasise the importance of coming up with unique and innovative solutions and resolutions for these issues, and to come to GA II with the goal of having interesting debates and discussions about our rapidly changing world.
It is an honour to serve as the President for GA II, and I am confident we will be seeing many intelligent and thoughtful ideas from our delegates. On behalf of the leaders of GA II, I would like to welcome you all to our committee.
